OpenEvidence drives significantly higher web traffic than Doximity AI: For much of the last decade, Doximity (a digital medical network with clinical tools) was treated as the benchmark for online physician engagement. OpenEvidence surpassed that benchmark — with over 12x the usage of Doximity’s AI tools as of June 2025. We see OpenEvidence becoming the new standard for the most widely used digital platform among U.S. physicians

Physicians spend more time on OpenEvidence than many of the leading clinical news & reference platforms: Clinical platforms like Medscape, Epocrates, and Doximity were traditionally staples in a doctor’s digital toolkit. Today, OpenEvidence has overtaken all of them in total time spent by doctors

   

3. OpenEvidence sets the benchmark for physician engagement: Physicians spend an average of 13.3 minutes per session on OpenEvidence—nearly ~4x longer than Doximity and ~7x longer than time spent with a typical pharma rep

   

4. Physician usage is growing rapidly: Over the past year, OpenEvidence has grown 37x in query volume, now handling 7 million monthly medical questions from logged-in, verified U.S. doctors
